Duquesne’s comeback guard with veteran poise and real bounce
Samson has been valued at Duquesne as a 6-foot-2 guard whose biggest differentiator is resilience: after a torn ACL that cut her season short, her coaches said she returned in the best shape of her life and “at 100%,” with more athleticism and confidence than before. In her 2020-21 season, she appeared in six games and posted a season high of two points and six rebounds against St. Bonaventure, but the bigger story is the two-way upside, toughness, and recovery arc that make her a compelling fit for a team needing length, maturity, and grit.
