Jackson State's Steady-Handed Pass-First Guard
Jonas James III, the Jackson State Tigers guard, delivers reliable playmaking with career averages of 8.6 PPG, 2.2 RPG, and a team-high 3.0 APG at 39.2% FG (career stats via ESPN), excelling as a quick-decision distributor who thrives in transition and sets up teammates with vision beyond his scoring output. Undrafted in 2022 after Jackson State, his poise under pressure and low-turnover intensity make him a low-risk fit for teams needing backcourt depth—perfect for mid-major or G-League squads valuing savvy over flash.
