Coast’s veteran tight end with old-school size and dependable role value
Willie Barnes is a former Coastal Carolina tight end who profiles as a big, classic in-line option at 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds, but the available record shows limited production and no receiving impact in his final season, so his value is more about body type, experience, and blocking potential than box-score numbers.[2] If you’re evaluating fit, he looks like a depth-and-development pickup for a run-first or physical offense rather than a featured pass-catcher, and there is no evidence in the available sources of major stat-line breakout or recent high-level impact.[2]
