Navy's Gritty LB with Special Teams Firepower
Ian Blake, a 6'2", 204-lb Navy linebacker from the class of 2017, impressed with elite high school athleticism (4.63 40-yard dash, 33.3" vertical) and earned first-team all-district honors at Brandeis HS before committing to the Mids. At Navy, he was a solid special teams contributor in 2019, showcasing relentless hustle and run-stopping tenacity as a varsity letterwinner—perfect for teams valuing disciplined, high-motor defenders over raw stats. Post-college, his sports performance background makes him a coachable gem for pro or developmental squads seeking Navy toughness.
