Brett Barney brings veteran size and smart, efficient frontcourt play to Omaha
Brett Barney is a 6-foot-9 center who gives Omaha a sturdy, low-drama big with experience and efficiency: in his Omaha run he played 31 games off the bench and averaged 2.7 points and 1.8 rebounds in 10.8 minutes per game, while his earlier Wichita State stint showed he could finish efficiently, with a career 60% shooting mark and a notably productive per-40-minute scoring rate. He also arrived with a reputation as a strong student and team-first piece, which matters for fit if a roster needs a reliable, physical depth center rather than a high-usage scorer.
