Steady, Big-Moment Kicker for Michigan
James Turner stands out as a clutch, high-leverage kicker whose composure showed in Michigan’s biggest games, including a four-field-goal performance in the 2023 Big Ten Championship and a Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week nod after the Ohio State win.[1][2][5] Before Michigan, he was already proven as a reliable long-term specialist at Louisville, where he set a school field-goal percentage record by going 20-for-22 in a season.[7] If you want a kicker who brings calm, consistency, and proven pressure handling, Turner fits the profile.
