High-upside righty with two-way pedigree and starter-level frame
Matt Manley is a **6-foot-1, 210-pound junior RHP** at Gardner-Webb who stands out for his proven upside: he arrived after a dominant high-school season in which he was named **2A Player of the Year**, hitting **.495** while also posting a **0.63 ERA** with **136 strikeouts** on the mound in 2024. That kind of two-way production signals athleticism, competitiveness, and real arm talent, which makes him intriguing beyond standard stat lines. If you want a pitcher with size, starting-pitcher traits, and the mentality to impact games, he’s worth a close look.[1][2][3]
