Morgan Popham was a disruptive, high-IQ force on Davidson’s defensive line
In the 2010 season, Morgan Popham emerged as one of Davidson’s most productive defensive linemen, finishing with 42 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, two sacks, a pass breakup and a blocked kick while starting all 11 games. He also earned second-team All-PFL and strong academic honors, which points to a dependable, disciplined player who brings effort and football IQ in addition to production. The stat line says impact; the accolades say trust. If you want a tough, assignment-sound DL who can affect plays behind the line, he looks like a solid fit.
