Auburn’s Joe Cope: seasoned center with proven experience, but not the current starter
Joe Cope is a veteran Auburn center whose value has traditionally come from experience, toughness, and reliability in the middle of the line, but in the 2026 depth-chart snapshots he is not listed as the Tigers’ starting center, with Cole Best holding that job. That makes Cope more of a depth/insurance piece than a headline starter right now — useful if you want a player who understands line calls and can stabilize a room, but not the clear plug-and-play answer at C for 2026.
