Hunter Young’s Brown fit is a tough, physical secondary piece with upside
Hunter Young is a Brown Bears safety whose value comes from instincts, toughness, and versatility rather than flashy counting stats. Brown’s publicly available roster info confirms his defensive role, while his recruiting profile lists him as a defensive back with a linebacker background, a clue that he brings a physical, downhill style and contact willingness that coaches love in a box safety. He profiles as a tone-setter who can help against the run and on special teams, making him a good fit for a team that wants reliability, aggression, and multi-role flexibility.
