Austin Williams brings Nebraska a compact, active linebacker profile with local roots
Austin Williams is a 6-foot, 200-pound outside linebacker from Omaha who gives Nebraska a homegrown, developmental linebacker option with clear upside as a high-energy defender. His profile points to a leaner, more rangy build than a thumper, which can fit teams that value pursuit speed, edge-setting, and versatility. The main question is projection: the available data is recruiting/profile-based rather than a deep statistical college résumé, so he looks more like a traits-and-development add than an immediate impact star.
