Derek Omoregie brings proven pass-rush production and size to ULM’s edge
Omoregie is a long, physical 6-5, 275-pound edge defender who arrives at Louisiana-Monroe with a real stat line behind the hype: at Southern Connecticut State in the 2024 season, he posted 40 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, and a forced fumble, after adding a blocked kick in 2023. ULM also listed him as unavailable in 2024 because of injury, so durability will matter, but his blend of length, power, and disruptive upside makes him a legit fit if your defense wants a tough, assignment-heavy DE who can flash as a finisher when healthy.
