Juan Salinas brings veteran guard depth, but production is modest
Juan Salinas is a UTSA guard whose game has been more about steady depth than box-score pop: ESPN lists him at 5.0 minutes, 1.7 points, 0.3 assists, and 0.3 steals in one season snapshot, with career averages around 0.8 points and 0.7 rebounds. He fits best as a low-usage, experience-based role player who can survive minutes without hurting you, but he has not shown high-end scoring or playmaking upside. If your team needs toughness, continuity, and a glue-guy presence, he’s interesting; if you need a primary creator, he’s not that guy.
