Chauncey Caldwell brings a dual-threat spark to NCCU's QB room
Caldwell profiles as a mobile, efficient quarterback who can stress defenses with both his arm and legs; at NCCU, he showed a live passing ceiling, including a 333-yard outing and a 464-yard, four-touchdown total-offense performance, while his career interception total stayed low, which points to controlled decision-making.[2][4][5] The appeal is his playmaking flexibility and ability to elevate a game when the offense is humming, though the available data is older and does not provide a clear picture of his current 2026 form or injury status.[1][8][10]
