6'4" Maryland guard with transfer-portal upside
Karkus profiles as a long, 6'4" guard with enough size to handle backcourt duties and the versatility that often attracts transfer-market attention, but publicly available stat detail is limited. He was listed by Maryland and later entered the transfer portal in 2023, suggesting his value is being evaluated more on fit, positional flexibility, and potential than on a large college stat sample. For a team, the appeal is a development piece with guard size; the question is whether he can translate that frame into consistent impact against higher-level competition.
