Delaware State’s veteran guard who grew into a coach-on-the-floor
Bushrod is a Delaware State alum whose value goes beyond box scores: he’s a former Hornets guard, a team captain, and a four-year letterwinner who later returned to the sport as a coach, which speaks to his basketball IQ, leadership, and willingness to do the little things right. The clearest on-record stat trail available shows him as a younger rotation piece in 2018-19, appearing in 17 games with one start, while his broader profile points to a disciplined, development-minded competitor with strong guard instincts and a high-motor, team-first identity.
