Charleston Southern Forward with Untapped High School Pedigree
Maya Richards, a forward for the Charleston Southern Buccaneers, posted modest 2019-20 college stats of 2.2 PPG and 2.2 RPG on 37.2% shooting across 20 games, but her high school dominance shines through—averaging 10.1 PPG, 7.0 RPG, 2.8 APG, and 2.7 SPG in 27 games during 2023-24 at Ponte Vedra, and 10.8 PPG with 6.4 RPG in 2018-19 at Northview. A consistent transition scorer who attacks the rim aggressively per Prep Girls Hoops, she's a gritty rebounder and defender with starter experience; ideal for teams needing versatile, high-motor depth off the bench.
