Joey Meerman brings compact, physical DB energy to Southeastern Louisiana
Meerman is a 5-foot-11, 185-pound junior defensive back for Southeastern Louisiana, and that frame suggests a sturdy, man-ready cover man who can handle contact and play downhill[1]. The available roster data confirms his role and college context, but public stat and ranking data were not surfaced here, so the bigger read is fit: he looks like the kind of DB who can compete with physicality, discipline, and steady reliability rather than flash[1][2]. If a staff wants toughness, versatility, and a no-drama defender in the secondary, he’s at least worth a close look.
