Furman’s Power Back Turned Program Standard-Bearer
Jerome Felton was a bruising, 6-foot, 248-pound fullback for Furman who stood out as a high-intensity, downhill runner and reliable blocker, and he finished his college career as Furman’s all-time scoring leader with 414 points in 2007. His value went beyond box-score stats: he brought physicality, short-yardage toughness, and the kind of no-drama, team-first profile coaches love in a lead-blocking FB. If you need a dependable, tone-setting interior enforcer with proven production and football character, Felton fits that mold cleanly.
