Southern DB Joseph Thomas is a depth-chart name to watch, but public stat trails are thin
Joseph Thomas appears on Southern’s roster as a defensive back, but widely available 2026 public stat and scouting data is limited, so his current impact is harder to quantify than some more heavily tracked players. What stands out is roster-level upside: if he wins snaps, a DB at Southern has to bring physicality, quick processing, and special-teams value in the SWAC’s fast, contact-heavy game. For a team, he’s the kind of player worth monitoring for development and role growth rather than immediate headline production.
