steady North Texas DB with early-season tackle production
Kevin Ealey is off to a quiet-but-useful start for North Texas in the 2026 season, with 6 solo tackles and 7 total tackles through the early schedule, but no interceptions, forced fumbles, or pass breakups yet[1]. That tells the story of a dependable, assignment-sound defensive back who is showing up in run support and keeping things clean rather than chasing splash plays. If you want a DB who looks built more for reliability, tackling, and physical edge than highlight-reel turnovers, Ealey is worth a closer look[1].
