Grambling’s RB to watch, but current stat trail is thin
De'Mack Bates is a Grambling State running back whose current public stat footprint is limited, so the best read is that he’s a watchlist player rather than a fully established star right now. Grambling’s 2025 team output leaned on a balanced offense rather than one runaway rusher, which makes Bates’ value more about how he fits the room: burst, physicality, and willingness to take on contact. If he’s healthy and earning touches, he could be a useful fit for a team that wants a tough, downhill back with room to grow.
