Carly Cummings brings steady on-base value and veteran consistency for SJSU
Cummings is a reliable San José State outfielder whose 2025 season showed real step-forward production: .263 batting average, .372 on-base percentage, 26 hits, 14 runs, and 22 walks in 45 games with 43 starts[1]. Her value is less about loud power and more about doing the little things well—working counts, getting on base, and providing dependable everyday reps—while also earning repeat academic recognition as an NFCA Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Mountain West honoree[1]. For a team, she profiles as a smart, steady fit rather than a tools-only bet[1][5].
