Elise Young brings steady guard play to Fairfield’s backcourt
Elise Young looks like a useful, low-drama backcourt piece for Fairfield: a guard who can contribute as part of a winning 2025-26 Stags group and fits a system that values efficient, composed play. The available team stats show Fairfield has been productive and competitive in 2025-26, but there isn’t enough public, player-specific statistical detail here to fairly label her with flashy counting numbers. What stands out is fit: a guard profile at a program that has leaned on balance, discipline, and team defense—good signs if you want a reliable rotation player rather than a volume-heavy scorer.
