Ejiofor is a high-motor, physical forward who became the 2024-25 breakout star for St. John’s, then followed it by leading the Red Storm in scoring, rebounds, assists and blocks in 2025-26 while earning unanimous Big East Player of the Year honors.[17][14] His differentiators are rim protection, elite offensive rebounding, and reliable interior finishing, with enough playmaking to function as a hub rather than just a finisher.[17][18] For a team, he looks like a winning fit because he impacts both ends, plays with intensity, and has already proven he can handle a heavy load in big games.[17][18]
