Lehigh’s hard-nosed 6-foot-2 post with a team-first edge
Melissa Rich is a former Lehigh center who, in the 2007-08 season, brought size, rebounding, and interior toughness to the Mountain Hawks, starting all 30 games, averaging 5.0 rebounds per game, and ranking second on the team in blocks with 19. Her most useful differentiator was reliability: she also led the team in scoring seven times and was recognized on the Patriot League Honor Roll, which points to a disciplined, high-IQ player who fits well with programs valuing hustle, academics, and glue-player energy. Lehigh’s own bio praised her as a “tremendous student, a tremendous basketball player, and a tremendous person.”
