veteran FAU linebacker who brings coverage savvy and dependable tackling
Ahman Ross has been a long-tenured presence for Florida Atlantic, with career production that includes 133 tackles, 3 passes defended, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble across his FAU career, plus a 2021 season line of 30 tackles, 2 pass breakups, and a pick. He’s valued less as a splashy stat stuffer and more as a steady, assignment-sound defender who can run with tight ends and make open-field stops. For a team, that means reliable football IQ, coverage competence, and veteran steadiness—nice little package, no gimmicks.
