Giada Motto is a walk-earning catcher with upside behind the plate
In her 2025 freshman season at Green Bay, Giada Motto appeared in 12 games and drew five walks in just seven at-bats, a small but telling sign of patience and strike-zone feel at the college level.[5] The bigger appeal is her catching profile: catchers who can control at-bats, stay composed, and handle the defensive demands of the position tend to fit programs that value reliability and game management. Her high school résumé also shows she can deliver in pressure spots, including a key triple in a comeback win for Crystal Lake Central.[1][4][5]
