Forester Brings Proven Linebacker Leadership and a Coach’s Eye for the Game
Matthew Forester is best known as the head football coach at Briarwood Christian and a former All-State linebacker at the school, where he once set a single-season state tackle record en route to a 3A title; that background signals a hard-nosed, high-intensity football mind with a built-in emphasis on tackling, discipline and program culture. He also played at Samford, which adds credibility as someone who understands the college game from the inside. For a team, he fits best if you want a defensive leader who can raise toughness and accountability, not just fill a stat sheet.
