Alabama State’s downhill linebacker with long-term upside
Xavier Fareed is a linebacker to watch because Alabama State lists him on its roster at LB, but there is not enough reliable public game-by-game or stat-tracking information in the available sources to make a strong performance claim. His appeal is mainly as a depth or development piece: a true defensive fit at a physical, high-contact position where instincts, tackling range, and special-teams value can matter as much as box-score production. For a team evaluating fit, the key question is upside and role projection rather than proven production right now.
