Joshua Lewis brings size, shooting, and upside to Louisiana’s frontcourt
In the 2025-26 season, freshman forward Joshua Lewis emerged as an efficient, modern wing for Louisiana, averaging 8.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, and shooting 51.4% from the field and 44.4% from three over 18 games with 15 starts. His calling card is versatility: at 6-7, he can stretch the floor, attack closeouts, and has already shown he can explode for big nights, including a 26-point, 9-rebound performance. As a four-star recruit and the highest-ranked signee in program history, he looks like a high-upside fit for teams needing a rangy forward with real scoring feel.
