Veteran linebacker bringing stability and edge to Delaware State
Barrett profiles as a dependable **LB** for Delaware State, with a veteran presence that coaches have publicly singled out during camp for his performance and consistency[2]. At 185 cm, he brings a compact linebacker build and appears to be part of the Hornets’ defensive backbone rather than a flashy stat-stuffer, which matters for teams needing reliability, communication, and effort snaps over headline numbers[1][2]. Publicly available stat detail is limited, so the strongest read is that Barrett’s value lies in his camp impact, steadiness, and experience—traits that can translate well on a roster needing a disciplined, assignment-sound defender[1][2].
