Claralee Richard brings veteran shot-making and gritty perimeter production to McNeese
Claralee Richard has been a dependable scoring guard for McNeese, with ESPN listing her at 8.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game, while McNeese’s 2020-21 stats show she led the team in made threes per game and hit 80.0% from the free-throw line in that season[3][5]. In the 2020-21 season, she also delivered a career-high 20 points in McNeese’s regular-season finale, a good sign of a guard who can swing a game when her shot is falling[15]. The appeal here is easy: spacing, toughness, and a proven ability to score without needing a ton of runway[5][15].
