Undersized, versatile front-line athlete with proven production and room to translate up the depth chart
Ja'Quez Jackson’s profile shows a defensive lineman/edge-type athlete with a strong production background, highlighted by a dominant high-school senior season of 137 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, and 5 sacks, plus a region Defensive Player of the Year award.[3] Current public listings in the search results are thin for Northwestern State, so the best read is that he offers disruptive effort, pursuit, and proven tackle volume rather than pure size-based dominance.[3][2] At 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds in recruiting listings, he looks like a motor-driven fit for a team valuing toughness, versatility, and development upside.[2]
