disruptive Leatherneck linebacker with proven backfield punch
McEachern’s Western Illinois profile shows a linebacker who brings production and edge: in the 2006 season, he logged 36 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss while starting seven games at linebacker or safety, and earlier game logs show multiple-tackle outings with a knack for showing up in traffic. His differentiator is versatility — he’s been used at both LB and safety, which usually signals instinct, range, and trust from coaches. If your team wants a tough, assignment-sound defender who can move around the board and contribute in space, he looks like a fit.
