Ryan Gadson brings ball-hawking production and proven starter chops to FIU
In the 2025 season at Lafayette, Ryan Gadson started 10 games at cornerback and posted 67 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, and 16 passes defended, earning All-Patriot League First Team honors; FIU lists him as a junior defensive back in 2026, and preseason recognition from Pro Football Network suggests he’s viewed as an impact transfer. He looks like the kind of DB who can erase throws, tackle reliably, and bring a steady, high-energy presence—exactly the sort of player you want if your secondary needs both coverage juice and a tone-setter.
