Shawn Olden II brings proven perimeter shot-making and veteran guard experience to Texas Southern
Olden is a seasoned guard with a track record as a steady floor-spacer and opportunistic scorer: at Pepperdine he averaged 8.9 points in 26.6 minutes over two seasons, and at TCU he flashed a 37.0% three-point clip while taking nearly all of his field goals from deep. He also has a history of contributing on defense and has dealt with an ankle surgery that cost him part of a season, so his value is as a reliable, experienced, low-ego perimeter piece rather than a high-usage creator.
