No Active RB Connor Embree at Kansas: Former Player Now NFL Coach
There is no current Kansas Jayhawks running back named Connor Embree; the individual you're asking about is a former University of Kansas football player (2012 roster, played free safety/halfback) who is now the wide receivers coach for the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs. As a former player, Embree was a three-year letterwinner with 3 junior interceptions and all-Eastern Kansas League honors, but he has not played college football since 2012 and is not active in any RB role today. His differentiator is his transition to elite NFL coaching, where he emphasizes discipline, performance standards, and excellence with Chiefs receivers—making him a high-fit for teams valuing coaching intensity and strategic WR development, not a fit for RB recruitment. If you're seeking an active RB, this athlete doesn't apply; if you want coaching insight, Embree's NFL experience offers unique value.
