Omar Kimbrough brings freshman-size upside to Alabama A&M behind the plate
The 2026 Alabama A&M freshman catcher from Columbus, Ga., is a 6-foot, 220-pound right-handed backstop who projects as a physical presence with room to grow into a run producer. Public roster data lists him on the Bulldogs’ 2026 roster, but no official season stats were available there, so the best current read is based on his profile: size, catcher value, and early recruiting buzz that highlighted his hitting and leadership. He’s the kind of player you care about if you want a young, sturdy catcher with upside, toughness, and a chance to become more than a stat line.
