John Butler brings rare size and floor-spacing upside
Butler stands out as a **7-foot forward** with a modern skill set: he can stretch the floor, protect the rim, and rebound, which makes him intriguing for teams that want lineup flexibility and matchup problems. At Florida State, he made history as the first freshman in program history to lead the team in **3-pointers made (33)** and **3-point percentage (.393)** in the 2021-22 season, a strong indicator that his value goes beyond traditional big-man stats. He fits best with a team that can develop his frame, polish his consistency, and maximize his two-way versatility.
