Kansas State’s Jason Lierz brings veteran walk-on grit and academic savvy to the OL room
Jason Lierz is a former Kansas State walk-on offensive lineman who earned minutes in conference play and was recognized with Second Team Academic All-Big 12 honors in the 2016 season. The big reason to care: he’s the kind of depth piece coaches love — local, tough, dependable, and already battle-tested in a program built on consistency. At 6-4, 284 pounds, his profile screams steady, team-first line presence rather than star billing, which can be a great fit if you want a grinder who understands the system and won’t blink under pressure.
