Cortez Davis brings veteran Hawaii DB savvy and ball production
In the 2020 season, Cortez Davis was a steady, playmaking defensive back for Hawaii, finishing with 30 tackles, 1 interception, and 1 pass defended in 8 games[3]. Earlier production showed real disruption value too: in the 2019 season, he posted 53 tackles, 13 passes defended, and an interception, and was described as someone who “erases the deep middle of the field”[2][15]. At 5'11" and 180 pounds, he profiles as an experienced, reliable senior presence who wins with anticipation, coverage awareness, and toughness more than flashy measurables[1][14].
