Towson DB Jairus Johnson: experienced name on the roster, but current impact is hard to pin down
Jairus Johnson is listed on Towson’s football roster as a defensive back, but publicly available 2026 season stat pages don’t show a clear individual production line, so his current on-field impact is tough to quantify from stats alone. The differentiator here is upside-by-context: if he’s earning snaps, Towson is likely valuing steadiness, assignment discipline, and depth at a premium defensive position more than splashy numbers. For a team shopping for a proven stat-sheet disruptor, the evidence is thin; for a team needing a dependable DB with room to grow, he’s at least worth a closer look.
