Trace Thaden is emerging as a tone-setting left tackle for North Dakota
In the 2025 season, Trace Thaden started all 14 games at left tackle and helped North Dakota post 194.9 rushing yards per game, 4.8 yards per carry, and the second-fewest sacks allowed in the MVFC. He’s a big, athletic blind-side protector at about 6-foot-7 to 6-foot-8 and 305 pounds, with enough movement skill to earn national “freaks” buzz and enough consistency to become a 2026 captain. If you want a mauler with real anchor power, growth, and leadership? He’s your guy.
