Maya Alvarez brings early trust, steady outfield reps for Mount St. Mary's
Alvarez is a sophomore center fielder who has already earned regular starts, appearing in 31 games with 25 starts in the 2026 season and hitting .210 with four doubles and seven RBI. Her value is more about dependability and role fit than loud numbers: Mount St. Mary's has trusted her early, and she profiles as a contact-oriented, versatile outfield piece who can help stabilize a lineup and defense. If you want a polished, high-effort defender with proven game experience, she is a reasonable fit; if you need a middle-of-the-order bat, the current production says she is still developing.[6][1][2]
