Former top-100 TE who flashed early as a compact, physical target
Upshur arrived at Florida State as a four-star, top-100 tight end and showed early receiving ability with 4 catches for 53 yards in 2018 after playing in 26 career games, but his FSU arc was interrupted by injuries and a major off-field setback after a Philadelphia shooting. His appeal was always his build and toughness at 6-foot-2/6-foot-3 and about 232-233 pounds, plus enough athletic pop to threaten the seam; for a team, he fit as a high-upside, physical TE if health and availability held.
