Freshman Guard Bringing High School Pedigree to Alcorn State Lady Braves
Shekinah Smith, a 5-7 freshman guard from Madison Central High School in Madison, MS, joins the Alcorn State Lady Braves with raw potential as a quick and agile playmaker, though limited 2025-26 stats are available mid-season. Her high school background suggests strengths in perimeter speed and scoring bursts, making her a developmental fit for teams seeking versatile backcourt depth. Watch for her transition impact—no major injury history noted, but expect growing pains typical of freshmen adjusting to college intensity.
