high-upside OSU righty with wrestler grit and a live arm
Cael Turner is a freshman right-handed pitcher for Oklahoma State in the 2026 season, bringing a 6-foot-3 frame, an all-state résumé, and a two-sport edge as a two-time Arkansas state wrestling champion. In the 2023 season, he was described as a reliever who handled hitters well with 38 strikeouts in 32 innings and a 1.90 ERA, while his fastball reportedly reached 92 mph. The appeal here is athleticism, toughness, and projection: he looks like a durable, competitive arm with real strike-throwing upside and a little extra nastiness baked in.
