Cole Kenyon gives Omaha a punchy righty reliever with strikeout bite
In the 2026 season, Omaha right-hander Cole Kenyon worked 13.0 innings across 18 appearances and struck out 11 batters, showing the kind of short-burst bullpen utility coaches love[1][2]. He also delivered a scoreless inning with two strikeouts against Nebraska and was part of relief groups that helped close out key games, which points to competitiveness and trust in leverage spots[3][5]. The stat line says he’s still sharpening command, but the appeal is clear: a tall, right-handed reliever who can miss bats and handle pressure[1][2].
