Gritty LB with Proven Tackling Pedigree from MEAC Standout to NAU Transfer
Devon Currie, a hard-nosed linebacker who earned 2022 All-MEAC Second Team honors and weekly top performer nods for his Southeastern Louisiana Lions impact, brings battle-tested intensity and championship DNA—highlighted by his 2019 Nevada 4A State Championship MVP as a Liberty HS standout. His transfer to Northern Arizona University in the 2023 class positions him as a versatile defender with high-motor reliability, minimal injury flags, and a competitive fire that elevates team defenses; ideal fit for programs seeking instinctive, effort-driven LBs who thrive in big moments.
